The gallery shows four collections of paintings, grouped below as Andalusian Pageant, Painting History, Historical Landscapes of Spain and Digital Abstract Art. Both the Andalusian Pageant and Historical Landscapes of Spain form series of works on a specific theme and create a coherent whole when viewed as a sequence.
Andalusian Pageant
Andalusian Pageant is a painted procession of colourful historical personages who played significant roles in the most important and dramatic era in the history of the Iberian Peninsula
Painting History
These selected paintings continue my Painting History theme, and show people, places and events that form part of the history of Spain and of my birthplace, Norfolk, in England.
Historical Landscapes Of Spain
A series of historical landscapes of Spain that evoke the history of its places and peoples.
Digital Abstract Art
A colourful and playful interpretation of recurring historical and personal themes in my work using digital techniques.
